Campus Management Selected for India's First Statewide Implementation of a University Management System

The Maharashtra State government in India has recently selected Campus Management as its technology partner. This means that the 14 universities that comprise the State of Maharashtra will implement the CampusNexus platform to align skills and training with workforce demand.

With its strong Microsoft foundation, Campus Management is able to focus on higher education specific software and solutions development to deliver innovation that transforms academic delivery, student success and operational efficiencies.

Learning Management System - Mississippi State University 

Campus Prepares for Switch to Canvas

Mississippi State University (MSU) is currently piloting a new learning management system (LMS) called Canvas by Instructure for use in spring 2019.

According to Tina Green, Lead Instructional Tech Specialist at MSU, Canvas offers a more user-friendly layout, easier communication between students and instructors, and allows written, video or audio comments between students and instructors on assignments, compared to their current LMS Blackboard.

Canvas: Saint Rose’s Move to a New Digital Environment

The College has updated students’ educational experience by transitioning online classroom forums from Blackboard Learn to Canvas.

Faculty complaints over the past two to three years prompted the Academic Technology Committee and ITS to look into alternative sources for online learning.

“Canvas offers flexibility and the ability to design their online class presence to best fit their pedagogical needs,” said John Ellis, Associate Vice President for Informational Technology Services and Facilities.

As the university aims to better reach, enroll and serve students in its upcoming Distance Learning Program, Ohio's Central State University is rolling out Oracle's Student Management product for student recruiting, engagement and support.

The system can manage both traditional degree paths and non-traditional offerings with 21st-century skills training for the workforce, government, military, corporate and other non-traditional students.

East Stroudsburg University Selects Starfish by Hobsons as Student Success Platform

East Stroudsburg University has partnered with Starfish to increase communication and connection between students, faculty, and staff across campus.

By launching the Starfish Enterprise Success Platform, which integrates with the university's current systems, the objective to establish a comprehensive advising system, and to have an early alert system will become a reality.
