Loyola University New Orleans Selects Barnes & Noble College to Manage its Bookstore

Effective June 15, Barnes & Noble College, a Barnes & Noble Education company, will be managing Loyola University's in-store and online bookstore operations.

This should mean significant cost savings for Loyola students in the form of affordable choices for learning materials and a robust textbook rental program. Barnes & Noble College will also offer students a price match program as well as a year-round buyback program.

Brown University Executive Ravi Pendse Named CIO and VP of IT at University of Michigan

The University of Michigan has named Ravi Pendse as its next vice president for information technology and chief information officer.

Pendse, who will serve as an executive officer of the university and provide university-wide leadership and strategic direction for information technology will assume his new position on August 1st.
